Described by The New York Times as “a state-of-the-art musical thinker” and a “dazzling saxophonist,” Steve Lehman brings his critically-acclaimed trio to Sam First for a two-night run, featuring tenor saxophone visionary, and recent Los Angeles transplant, Mark Turner. The two saxophonists will be joined by the young bass virtuoso, Logan Kane, and Damion Reid — one of the most influential drummers of his generation.
