Robby Marshall feat. Alex Monfort - LIVE-STREAMING!

For a very special evening of Paris musicians in Los Angeles, saxophonist and former LA musician Robby Marshall returns to the city that formed him in collaboration with gifted Parisian pianist, Alex Monfort. Born in the Bay Area, saxophonist and composer Robby Marshall rose to prominence in the Los Angeles jazz scene, marked by his albums Living Electric and RootSystem. Marshall toured with Cassandra Wilson, Brenna Whitaker, Trombone Shorty and many others before moving to Paris. Little Victories, his latest album with the Robby Marshall Quartet, was released in 2019 by France’s Vita Productions label. Alex Monfort is a French composer, piano & keyboard player based in Paris. From a young age he was exposed to West Coast rap and hip-hop legends which have had a great influence on his work. He has collaborated with prestigious player such as Chris Potter, Herlin Riley, Seamus Blake and Jorge Rossy.
