John Tegmeyer Quartet

John Tegmeyer is a rare presence in modern music. An unparalleled clarinetist, he is equally at ease playing virtuosic concertos in concert halls as he is pushing the boundaries of improvisatory jazz in intimate venues. His versatility has made him an in-demand session musician who has contributed to a wide array of film and TV soundtracks, solo artist recordings, and live ensemble performances.

With his own groups, John offers original compositions that seamlessly incorporate elements from diverse styles, from post-bop jazz to impressionist classical, world fusion to funk groove.
