Jessica Vautor duo with Vardan Ovsepian

Jessica Vautor hails from the French-Caribbean island of Martinique. Beginning in her childhood, Jessica's father provided her with a rich and unique musical foundation that is the essence of her inspiration today. She is a regular collaborator with pianist Vardan Ovsepian, guitarist Marcel Camargo and pianist Otmaro Ruiz.

Vardan Ovsepian is an Armenia-born pianist/composer who's credits include Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, Peter Erskine, Jerry Bergonzi, David Binney and Tatiana Parra. His recent awards and publications include First Prize at the Achava Jazz Award (Erfurt, Germany - 2017), Chamber Music America Grant for New Jazz Works program funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (New York, NY - 2017), and a release of Peter Erskine New Trio album “In Praise of Shadows”.
