Charles Goold Quartet

Charles Goold, is one of New York City's hardest working jazz drummers of his generation. Born to an American jazz saxophonist father and a Haitian immigrant mother, Goold has used these influences to shape his voice and message in the jazz community. After stints with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Steve Nelson, and Johnny O'Neal, Goold has begun to step into the leader role to showcase his unique voice and perspective. Joined by musicians he met while attending the Juilliard School, Goold's quartet will be performing favorite jazz standards and music from his debut album "Rhythm In Contrast" which enjoyed great reviews in both the New York Times and Downbeat Magazine as well as many placements in top jazz streaming playlists.
