West Coast Jazz Hour Big Band feat. Melissa Morgan AT SECOND HOME

The West Coast Jazz Hour Big Band is a joint venture by Josh Nelson and Kevin van den Elzen. They started the West Coast Jazz Hour as a Facebook / Youtube show during the pandemic in May 2020. The show puts a spotlight on the music and musicians of the West Coast jazz scene of the 50's and the 60's. Josh and Kevin decided to perform this repertoire in July 2021 with a small group and a big band. The WCJH Big Band performs pieces from the greatest West Coast musicians such as Bill Holman, Terry Gibbs, Quincy Jones, Gerald Wilson, Johnny Mandel and many more. The band is a mixture of musicians who are a part of the rich history of the West Coast jazz scene such as Chuck Berghofer, Gene Cipriano, Alan Kaplan, Ron Stout and younger players such as Ido Meshulam, Brian Clancy and Juliane Gralle.

LOCATION: Second Home Hollywood | 1370 N St Andrews Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90028

SET TIMES: 2 sets at 7:30pm & 9:00pm. A separate ticket is required for each show.

PARKING: Underground parking entrance on DeLongpre, across the street from the Target parking lot. $15 flat rate.
