This is the original Dr. Um Band that made the 2016 Grammy-nominated album "Dr. Um" Peter Erskine's album Dr. Um received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Jazz Instrumental Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.The nomination recognized Erskine's triumphant return to a groove-driven, fusion jazz sound. Released on his own independent record label, Fuzzy Music, the album was one of five selected from nearly 800 submissions in its category.
