Vocalist/composer Catina DeLuna and pianist/composer/arranger Otmaro Ruíz highlight obscure Brazilian gems and offer vastly revised versions of well-known classics with Lado B Brazilian Project. Their new recording, "Lado B Brazilian Project 2” (Sunnyside Records), follows their Grammy® nominated “Lado B Brazilian Project” in 2016 (independent production), providing a perfect example of their achievements. Surrounded by the top jazz recording artists in Los Angeles, Catina DeLuna and Otmaro Ruiz present, for the first time, the music of their new album on the official day of its release.
