Miro Sprague Quartet
Miro Sprague is a pianist, composer, and bandleader known for his dynamic and passionate performance style, inspiring creativity, and artistic versatility. An active performer since the early 2000's, he has toured the Unites States, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East, performing in many of the world's top venues and festivals in settings ranging from solo piano to septet. Miro leads his own trio and quintet and has worked with many renowned artists including Wayne Shorter, Matt Wilson, Jerry Bergonzi, Ingrid Jensen, Houston Person, Dominique Eade and many others. Since 2015 he has been the pianist of choice for vocalist Karrin Allyson, touring extensively with her throughout the U.S. and overseas and recording on her latest release "Some of That Sunshine". He is also a member of saxophonist Daniel Rotem's group and the cooperative septet "Holophonor" . A native of Western Massachusetts, Miro currently divides his time between Los Angeles and New York City.
