Michael Wolff is a renowned pianist, composer, and bandleader whose career spans more than five decades across jazz, television, film, and orchestral music. A collaborator with legends including Sonny Rollins, Cannonball Adderley, Nancy Wilson, Christian McBride, and Tony Williams, he has performed at leading venues worldwide and appeared on more than 20 recordings as a sideman and leader. He also served as musical director for The Arsenio Hall Show, where he accompanied an extraordinary range of artists and public figures.
Beyond the bandstand, Wolff is an award winning composer, educator, and author whose memoir, On That Note: A Memoir of Jazz, Tics, and Survival, chronicles his remarkable journey through a celebrated musical career, life with Tourette Syndrome, and recovery from a life-threatening battle with cancer.
