Michael Ragonese is a Los Angeles based pianist and composer leading a modern jazz trio featuring Luca Alemanno on bass and Anthony Fung on drums. Blending contemporary composition with a deep connection to the jazz tradition, the trio’s music draws from modern jazz, classical influences, and Ragonese’s Italian upbringing.

Having performed together for nearly a decade, the group has developed a strong musical chemistry centered around interaction, lyricism, rhythmic exploration, and collective improvisation.
