Gerl returns to Sam First with his trio, joined by Ruslan Sirota and Kevin Kanner, performing fresh interpretations of jazz standards. An internationally active artist, Gerl has appeared at major festivals and collaborated with renowned musicians across the jazz and contemporary music scenes.

Gerl brings his trio back to Sam First, this time with Los Angeles stalwarts Ruslan Sirota and Kevin Kanner. Together, they will present a concert of interpretations of their favorites songs in the jazz standard repertoire.
Gerl has performed internationally at the Monterey Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, etc. He has performed or recorded with Stanley Clarke, Jordan Rakei, Makaya McCraven, Talib Kweli, Tia Fuller, Emily Bear, Bernard Wright, and Blaque Dynamite.

Show Times: 7:30pm & 9:30pm, and a separate ticket is required for each show.
