Marcel Camargo: "September Songs" Big Ensemble Edition - AT SECOND HOME

"The idea of this event is to marry the main staple of my shows from the past - which was arranging for bigger groups - with some of the music that I wrote recently, in particular the pieces that came out of my song-a-day writing challenge of last September. If you ever came to one of the Brazil You Never Heard shows (or heard one of the records the group put out), imagine that but leaning more towards cinematic Jazz than Brazilian music. It’s also the first time that I’m playing all original music with a large group and I’m so excited to share the stage with all of the brilliant musicians that are joining me and, most of all, to play for you, our loving Los Angeles audience!
