John Escreet “Seismic Shift” Quartet w/Mark Turner, Eric Revis & Damion Reid

Over the course of his career, John Escreet has earned a reputation as one of the most active and diverse pianist/composers working in music today. Having performed/recorded with pretty much everybody of note on the NYC scene over the past 15 years, his prolific output is reflected over the course of nine diverse and critically acclaimed albums that span the gamut of creative improvised music.

Recently relocated to Los Angeles, John formed his new Trio with Eric Revis on bass and Damion Reid on drums. They recently released their album “Seismic Shift” to much widespread critical acclaim. For these special performances they will be presenting music from that album in a quartet format, featuring the great Mark Turner on tenor saxophone. Not to be missed!
