German-born New-York-City-expatriated jazz drummer of note Jochen Rueckert stops over to reunite with his long-time band mate, supreme tenor saxophonist, reluctant ECM artist, and sought-after fashion model Mark Turner for a night of consensual musical exploration with bassist Karl McCormas-Reichl. Rueckert is widely known from his roles in the Fred Hersch trio, Melissa Adlana's trio, Seamus Blake/Chris Cheek’s “Reed’s Ramble’, Marc Copland’s trio, his stint in the Kurt Rosenwinkel quartet, as well as his electronic music released under the moniker "Wolff Parkinson White". There will be a minimal amount of original music tonight.
