Isaiah Harwood is a rising jazz pianist and composer from Oakland known for his expressive, thought-provoking sound. A former Jazz Search West winner, he trained at CJC and USC, and now performs in Los Angeles alongside notable artists.

Isaiah Harwood is a 22 year old jazz pianist/composer with a desire to spread thought-provoking music throughout his community. Born and raised in Oakland, Isaiah grew up in the Bay Area Jazz scene and performed with local legends such as Marcus Shelby, Erik Jekabson, and many others. In 2016, at the age of 13, Isaiah was a winner of the Jazz Search West competition, and was awarded a scholarship to the California Jazz Conservatory. During his time at the CJC, he participated in the SFJAZZ All Stars program, won the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra Piano position, as well as an honorable mention from YoungArts.
