Pianist Irving Flores returns in a conceptually driven Afro-Cuban trio format featuring the legendary rhythmic spontaneity of drummer Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez and the New York City-seasoned expertise of bassist Will Lyle. This performance highlights the piano as a lead melodic voice through a repertoire of jazz standards and original works, including selections from Flores’ latest album, Armando Mi Conga. The set promises world-class interplay from a leader whose recent work was recognized as one of the Top 5 Latin Jazz releases of 2025.
