"Gerald Clayton & Friends" is our weekly series curated by iconic pianist and friend of Sam First, Gerald Clayton. Gerald will be out of town for this performance, but has arranged for pianist phenom, Paul Corish to host the evening on his behalf. The house band performs one set at 7:30pm which is immediately followed by a jam session from 9:00-11:00pm.
Los Angeles based pianist Paul Cornish strives to inspire freedom and collaboration in his music and community. Paul regularly performs at premier venues around Los Angeles and has been heard on stages around the world from Europe, Australia, and South America to Carnegie Hall. He has performed and worked with artists Herbie Hancock, Gary Bartz, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Steve Lehman, Kanye West, Terrace Martin, Mary Stallings, Thumpasaurus, Louis Cole, John Legend, Theo Croker, Sara Gazarek, David Binney, and many more.
All shows at Sam First are 21+ (no one under the age of 21 will be permitted)
Show Times: The house band performs one set at 7:30pm which is immediately followed by a jam session from 9:00-11:00pm. A separate ticket is required for the the first set and the jam session.
