Gary Fukushima & GF3 (1)

GF3 is three guys who play music primarily by GF. GF (Gary Fukushima), along with JPM (John Paul Maramba) and MS (Miles Senzaki) started out as a house rhythm section for a weekly jazz jam session in downtown LA, gradually evolving into a creative unit transcending style, genre, time and culture. GF3 has been featured at the Los Angeles Asian American Music Festival, the Plaza at Japanese American National Museum, the Los Angeles Lotus Festival, Arts Brookfield at 7th and Fig, the Pacific Design Center, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Pacific Asia Museum, Bluewhale, and numerous clubs and venues throughout Southern California. Individually, GF3's members have played with many diverse artists, including The Pharcyde, Alphonso Johnson, Joey Dosik, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Yuna, Here Lies Man, Priscilla Ahn, LP, The Breakestra, Mia Maestro, Zee Avi, and Double G. The first installment of their long-anticipated debut album, Preludes, Vol. 1, is available, with Preludes, Vol. 2 set to be released in April, 2019.
