Drummer Jaz Sawyer and his powerful quartet return for a special tribute to three of his greatest drumming influences: Art Blakey, Roy Haynes, and Billy Higgins. Having previously performed tributes to each of these iconic drummers, Jaz now brings their celebrated music, distinctive styles, and enduring influence together for one unforgettable performance. Throughout his distinguished career, Sawyer has performed alongside jazz and music legends including Wynton Marsalis, George Benson, Abbey Lincoln, Bobby Hutcherson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Randy Weston, and Herb Alpert. His artistry has taken him to some of the world's most celebrated stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note, Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, The Concertgebouw, and Lincoln Center.
