An aspiration borne out of the fertile metropolis of the San Fernando Valley. Ten distinct artistic voices, each representing the storied history of jazz via the unique timbres of their instruments. Played by those who became or were already friends freely sharing their notes and melodies.

The CSUN Jazz TenTet is made up of some of the best and brightest students in the jazz program at California State University, Northridge. They are on a tour of Central and Northern California as a representative of CSUN's award-winning jazz program, which has over 80 jazz majors who participate in three big bands, our vocal jazz and latin jazz bands, and over a dozen combos.
