Christina Galisatus: "Without Night" Debut Album Preview Show

Join pianist and composer Christina Galisatus as she previews the music from her debut album "Without Night", to be released in the coming months! Christina has quickly established herself as one of the most compelling young pianists and composers working in jazz and improvised music. Raised in a musical family, she developed a love for musical expression through years of classical piano training and playing French horn in chamber groups and symphony orchestras around the world. While improvisation was an early practice from her first days of sitting at the piano, Christina has since found her space in jazz and improvised music as a performer, composer, and educator. Christina has developed a strong voice led by a constant search for honesty, simplicity, and beauty with the music that she performs and composes. Her debut album follows the release of two compositions, "Root" ft. Jeff Parker and "Who", and will feature a set of original compositions which blend orchestral-like arranging with the collaborative, improvised elements of jazz.

Show Times: 7:30pm & 9:00pm, and a separate ticket is required for each show.
