Bryn Roberts and Lage Lund have been playing together for over a decade since meeting in Brooklyn in 2004. The two have performed extensively in New York clubs, toured together in Canada and Japan, and released an album entitled “Nightsong” in 2016. Their latest recording “Hide the Moon and the Stars” will be released in October.

Bryn Roberts is pianist, keyboardist and composer who is in demand in a wide variety of musical contexts. According to Bill Charlap, “Roberts has poise, elegance, a beautiful touch and a natural melodic flow. His musical imagination always tells a story and his delivery is organic and unforced.” He has performed, toured and recorded extensively both as a leader and sideman, and is a mainstay at jazz clubs like Smalls, Mezzrow, The Jazz Gallery, the 55 bar and Dizzy’s. He has toured widely with his own groups including festival, radio and club appearances across the USA, Canada, the UK, Spain and Japan, and also works in the singer-songwriter world, playing with artists like Rosanne Cash and Shawn Colvin.

Lage Lund is acclaimed not only as one of the finest guitarists of his generation, but also one of the most compelling jazz artists in the world today. A regular in the “Rising star – Guitar” category in the Downbeat Critic’s Poll, he has been hailed by Pat Metheny as a favorite young guitarist, and is “all music and all soul” according to Russell Malone - one of the judges who awarded Lund top prize in the 2005 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition.
