Vocalist Lorin Benedict makes his Sam First bandleading debut alongside bassist Logan Kane and drummer Clarence Penn. Reimagining jazz standards in a chord-less, scat-driven setting, the trio creates an intimate, adventurous performance fueled by spontaneity and inventive interplay.

Scat vocalist Lorin Benedict will lead his first band at Sam First, joined by the great bassist Logan Kane, and the sublime drummer Clarence Penn. This evening the group will explore standard chestnuts from the repertoire, but delivered in this non-standard chord-less, scat-full format.
All shows at Sam First are 21+ (no one under the age of 21 will be permitted)
Show Times: 7:30pm & 9:30pm, and a separate ticket is required for each show.
