Adam Hersh Quartet

Adam Hersh is a pianist and composer, native to Los Angeles California. Growing up inspired by the musicians around him, he set down the path of discovering the secrets of improvised music. Since graduating Cal State University Northridge almost 2 years ago, he has begun steadily working on the Los Angeles scene along with some touring internationally and in the states. He is aiming to create music that has sophistication and complexity, while still maintaining the elements of groove and beauty that connect with the average listener.

Adam has performed with Bob Mintzer, Danny Janklow, Gary Pratt, Bob McCheseny, Scott Whitfield, Rob Lockhart, Pete Christlieb, Ike Sturm, Calabria Foti, Tierney Sutton, Gene Coye, Dave Robaire, Nick Mancini, Anthony Strong, Dan Schnelle, Ben Van Gelder, Kevin Kanner, Mike Cottone, Graham Dechter, Barbara Morrison, Munir Hossn, and Doug Webb.
