Currently based in Los Angeles, the tastefully expressive drummer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Rachbach and his group of long-time collaborators celebrates the release of Rachbach’s second album “Kindred Spirits”. Rachbach has performed with many winning ensembles and earned a Bachelor of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music. Tim has performed in notable jazz clubs all around New York City, and has toured in Europe and Brazil with several ensembles. As an emerging and notable artist, Tim has been a participant in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency at the Kennedy Center, as well as the Banff Workshop in Jazz & Creative Music. Currently based in Los Angeles, Tim has just released his second original album entitled Kindred Spirits, which features his playing on a variety of instruments, accompanied by special guests. His first jazz quintet album, Under One Moon, features a stellar cast of New York Jazz musicians including Adam O’Farrill, Manuel Schmiedel, Xavier Del Castillo, and Rick Rosato.

All shows at Sam First are 21+ (no one under the age of 21 will be permitted)

Show Times: 7:30pm & 9:00pm, and a separate ticket is required for each show.
