Max Gerl returns to Sam First with a multigenerational quartet, that will be debuting all new Gerl compositions.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, Gerl has performed internationally at the Monterey Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, etc. He has performed or recorded with Stanley Clarke, Jordan Rakei, Makaya McCraven, Talib Kweli, Tia Fuller, Emily Bear, Bernard Wright, and Blaque Dynamite. He released his debut album as a leader, “Tbilisi”, in December, 2019.

All shows at Sam First are 21+ (no one under the age of 21 will be permitted)
